Wealthy Rol lo Tread way (Buster Ke aton) s uddenly de cides t o propose to h is neighb or across the street, Betsy O& ;#39;Brien (Kathryn McGuire), and sends his servant t o book pas sage for a h oneymoon sea cr uise to Hono lulu. Wh en Betsy re jects his s udden offer h owever, he dec ides to go on the tri p anywa y, boarding w ithout delay that night. Bec ause the pi er number is pa rtially covered, he ends up on the wr ong ship, the Navigator, which Betsy& amp;#39;s ric h fathe r (Freder ick Vroom) has just sold t o a small co untry at war. Agents f or the o ther sma ll nation in t he conflict decide to set the shi p adrift that s ame nigh t. When Betsy 's fat her checks up o n the ship, h e is cap tured and ti ed up by the sa boteurs. Betsy hears his cry for hel p and boards t he ship to lo ok for him, ju st before it i s cut lo ose. Th e Navigat or drifts out into the Paci fic Ocean. The two unwi tting pa ssengers ev entually fin d each ot her. At fir st, they have great difficulty l ooking aft er them selves, but ad apt after a fe w weeks. At on e point , they sight a navy ship and hoist a brightly-c olored flag , not r ealizing it signa ls that the shi p is und er quar antine. As a result, the ot her vessel tu rns away. Finally, the ship grounds it self near an inhabited t ropical island and spring s a leak. Wh ile Rollo don s a dee p sea diving s uit and subm erges to patch the hole, t he black n atives canoe out and t ake Betsy capt ive. Wh en Rollo emerges from t he ocean, t he natives a re scar ed off, enabling him t o rescue B etsy an d take her back to the s hip. The nat ives return a nd try t o board the shi p. After a fierce s truggle, Rollo a nd Betsy try to escape i n a small dinghy. I t starts to sink, and the native s swiftly over take them in thei r canoes . Just wh en all se ems lost, a navy submari ne surfaces r ight underne ath them and they are saved .详情
